Projektraum Viktor Bucher Wien

Der projektraum viktor bucher wurde 1995 gegründet und von Anfang an als „Projektraum“ und nicht als “Galerie“ definiert, als ein „lebendiger-“ und nicht statischer Ausstellungsraum – offen für die unterschiedlichsten Ausdrucksformen künstlerischer Praxis auf hohem Niveau. 1998 zog die Galerie an ihren heutigen Standort in der Praterstraße 13.

Das breite Ausstellungs- und Künstlerinnenprogramm der Galerie hat interessante und regional vielfältige junge Positionen nach Wien gebracht – viele zum ersten Mal. Die Ausstellungen haben sowohl in Österreich als auch international kritischen Erfolg erzielt und den Künstlern dabei geholfen, sich auch international zu entwickeln und zu behaupten.

In 1998 the gallery moved to its present location in Praterstrasse 13.

The gallery’s broad program of exhibitions and artists has brought interesting and regionally diverse young practitioners to Vienna – many for the first time.
